This is our basic level of membership. It is completely free and open to all spouses, life partners, girlfriends, etc. of law enforcement officers at all levels of government (city, county, state, federal).

This membership option is the private, verified-only member message boards that offer a safe and secure way to share experiences and information that you don't feel comfortable sharing in a public message board. More benefits to joining our verified boards are: private message system, custom avatars, private live chat room, contests, and extended forum usage.
Also, members who become verified after April 15, 2009 receive a copy of Dr. Keven Gilmartin's book Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement once approved for Verified status.

Verification Process and Guidelines:
The application process is safe and easy. You may use the link below to go directly to our verification application after reviewing these guidelines. In order to provide a safe place for your discussions we must first verify that you are in a relationship with an active duty law enforcement officer. All applications must meet the following criteria before being approved.

~ Applicant must be a registered member on the public forums for at least 30
days and contribute at least 30 posts
~ A copy of the law enforcement officer's state ID, department issued ID, and
your state issued ID must be submitted
~ You must have an established relationship with a law enforcement officer
and reside at the same address on your ID's
~ The law enforcement officer must be actively working with a law
enforcement agency, graduated from the academy

All submitted applications will only be reviewed by a National Police Wives Association Board Member. Once verified, if your account is deleted because of inactivity you must reapply for membership as we DO NOT keep a copy of your application on file. We DO NOT call the law enforcement officer's agency of employment unless your application is
suspicious,and you will be notified before doing so.

All information shared in the verified message boards is strictly confidential. Any member caught disclosing shared information outside of said boards will be immediately banned. National Police Wives Association reserves the right to revoke verified membership status, extend the waiting period, or deny membership for any reason.

This option allows members to communicate and support each other. Our supporting members consist of both non-verified and verified members that are given special access to our chatroom, extended use of our private messaging system, signature graphics, and forum avatars.

Any member that wishes to help support the costs and projects associated with National Police Wives Association and gain access to these addition features may make a small, yearly donation of $10 through their account by following the steps outlined below:

1. Once logged in, click on UserCP from the top menu bar.
2. From the left menu click Paid Subscriptions
3. Select 1 Year from the drop down menu and Order subscription.
4. All payments are made through the Paypal system at this time
